Marines Doing Laundry in the Pacific - Okinawa Japan, 1945

Description

Corporal William J Batterton (US Marine Corps) doing laundry. Our laundry was made of a 55 gallon drum and a bicycle. When we peddled the bike, the drum would go around to clean the cloths. To rinse the cloths, we emptied the drum, refilled the drum, and started pedaling again!
